Is a TouchPoint website HIPAA-compliant for therapists?
We understand that HIPAA is of the utmost concern. We don’t claim to be HIPAA compliance experts, but our intention is to design with sensitivity and privacy in mind. Here are a few of the things we do with HIPAA in mind:
We don’t use generic website forms that could accidentally collect health information. Instead, we embed the secure forms that you provide to us from your existing EHR or from Google if you’ve signed a BAA.
We submit your site to Google Search Console to support SEO, but we disable Google analytics by default. It is not HIPAA compliant and collects behavioral data that could be seen as inferred PHI, especially if someone is browsing sensitive service information.
All of our sites are secured with SSL encryption at the host level.
Does TouchPoint include SEO for therapist websites?
TouchPoint includes SEO foundations designed specifically for therapists launching a new site. We structure your site to be lean, fast, and clear. We suggest specific keywords for your copy and add alt text to your photos. We also submit your site to Google Search Console.
Can I update my therapy website myself after launch?
Yes! You will be able to update text, swap images, add pages, and make changes without needing a developer for every small edit.
